Chai Mulled Wine

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me… Chai Mulled Wine!



Day 6 of the TeaShed 12 Days Of Tea brings a lovely chai spiced mulled wine, infused with orange zest and fresh ginger.




Treat yourself this Christmas with a warming glass of spiced Chai Mulled wine. It’s like Baby, It’s Cold Outside tea with an extra special festive sparkle! Mulled wine is made for cold wintery evenings with your nearest and dearest, snuggling up in front of a glowing fire and watching Love Actually. The aromatic smell of the chai spiced blend is the epitome of festive scents and it warms you from the inside out.





1 bottle of red wine
300ml Baby, It’s Cold Outside Chai tea (2 tea bags)
85g honey
2 cinnamon sticks
2 oranges, peeled and juiced
1 tsp freshly grated ginger


1. Brew the tea and let it steep for 10 minutes.
2. Add all the ingredients into a pan and heat on low for 15 minutes, without letting it boil.
3. Remove from the heat and let everything infuse for 10-15 minutes to a full bodied flavour. Serve warm with mince pies or a Berry Orange Tea Cake!
